There are two game modes.

There are three modes in Head Basketball: Quick Match, Two Players, and One Player.

You will compete alone in a tournament or random match in one-player mode. Additionally, this mode offers training sessions to hone your abilities. Please be aware that you can win a trophy by participating in the event.

In two-player mode, you and a friend can play against or with the same team on the same PC.

You will face an NPC in a random 1v1 match when using the Quick Match mode.

How to play Head Basketball

At the beginning, choose your favourite mode. Regardless of the game option you pick, the end goal is to outscore the opponent within the given time and win.

Try to score as many points as you can while playing smart defence to edge yourself above your opponent on the floor. To prevent the opponent from blocking your shots, aim and time them properly. Additionally, you can gain a lot of advantage in the game by using special actions like dash, jumping + shooting, and particularly monster dunks. You'll undoubtedly get points with giant dunks and have little risk of failing. Timing is also crucial for efficient defence; you can thwart the opponent's scoring efforts by leaping at the appropriate times.

Pay attention to the timer. There is a set time restriction for each match. Before time runs out, try to score more points than the opposition. The game may go into overtime to determine the victor if there is a tie at the end of the allotted time.
